Practical Help for Cats, Strays and the People Who Care About Them
Rescue does not always begin at a shelter. Sometimes it starts with a stray in the neighborhood, a cat that needs grooming, a litter that needs a safe place, or someone who simply does not know what to do next. Latasha’s Holy Felines brings practical feline support closer to the community through rescue and trapping help, grooming, sitting, temporary care, transportation, fundraising and other services built around the real needs of cats.
Help That Meets Cats Where They Are
Every cat comes with a different situation. Our goal is to make it easier to find the right kind of help without making people jump through unnecessary hoops.

Cat Rescue &
Trapping
Help for stray, lost and community cats that need safe trapping, rescue support or a plan for what happens next.

Cat Grooming
Practical grooming and cat-care support designed to help cats stay cleaner, more comfortable and easier to care for.

Cat Sitting & Temporary Care
Light sitting, temporary kenneling and short-term support for situations where a cat needs a safe place or extra attention.

Transportation & Care Support
Help connecting cats with appropriate care, including light first-aid or quarantine support when the situation calls for it.
A Community Built Around Compassion for Cats
Latasha’s Holy Felines grew from seeing firsthand what happens when shelters become overcrowded and cats need someone to step in. What began around 2020 as hands-on care, adoption and fundraising has grown into a bigger idea: make useful feline support easier to reach in the neighborhoods where cats already live.
Over the years, Latasha has cared for cats and kittens of her own while continuing to support rescue needs in the community. The work is small, personal and grounded in a simple belief: when a cat needs help, people should have somewhere to turn.
Our Catholic faith shapes the way we approach that work through compassion, stewardship, honesty and service to both animals and neighbors.
Real Cats. Real Needs. Real Community Support.
This work is not about chasing big numbers. It is about helping the cat in front of us and building the resources to help the next one.
Around 21 Cats & Kittens
Cared for over approximately six years through Latasha's own adoption and support efforts.
Community-Based Care
Support focused on cats already living in neighborhoods, homes and local communities.
Self-Funded Roots
The work has been largely self-funded, with donations helping expand what can be done for each cat.
One Cat at a Time
Support can be directed toward the wider mission or toward an individual cat in need.
Our Mission Is Simple: Make It Easier to Help
A stray cat should not become a neighborhood problem simply because nobody knows where to start. Our mission is to create a practical, community-supported network for feline care. That means helping with rescue and trapping, grooming, sitting, temporary shelter, transportation, lost-and-found support and the supplies needed to care for cats safely.
As we grow, the vision includes rentable cat grooming and care stations with temporary shelter space, giving communities another way to respond when cats need cleaning, observation, short-term care or transportation to veterinary services.
What Your Donation Helps Make Possible
Many of the cats connected to Latasha’s Holy Felines are already adopted, placed or living within the community. Donations help support the care behind the scenes and give us more room to respond when another cat needs help.

Stray, Feral or Found a Cat? Start Here.
Finding a cat outside can raise a lot of questions. Is the cat lost? Is it a community cat? Does it need medical attention? Is there a mother or litter nearby? Should it be trapped?
You do not have to figure everything out before reaching out. Tell us what you are seeing and we can help you understand the next practical step based on the situation and the resources available.
We also want lost-and-found reporting to be easy to locate and simple to use, so people can share information about found cats without digging through the website.
Meet Some of the Cats Behind the Mission
Every photo has a story behind it. Some of these cats have been adopted, some have needed extra care, and others have simply reminded us why this work matters.

Keeping Cats With the People Who Love Them
Loyalty is one of the values behind Latasha’s Holy Felines. Whenever possible, we want practical care, supplies, grooming, sitting and community support to help strengthen the bond between cats and the people already caring for them.
